tcping.exe is a console application that operates similarly to 'ping', however it works over a tcp port. There are many different implementions of this floating around, written independently by different people. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Open Windows Terminal, PowerShell, or Command Prompt and run: winget install --id EliFulkerson.tcping --exact --version 0.39. winget downloads the installer from Eli Fulkerson and runs it. Requires Windows 10 (1809+) or Windows 11.
How do I install tcping silently for unattended deployment?⌄
Add --silent and accept the agreements upfront: winget install --id EliFulkerson.tcping --exact 0.39 --silent --accept-package-agreements --accept-source-agreements. This is the variant Intune, Configuration Manager, and other deployment tools should use.
How do I uninstall tcping via winget?⌄
